Dr. Oz Shares 2 Week Rapid Weight Loss Diet Recipes – Turkey Chili, Spicy Avocado Salad, Cabbage Steak

Last month Dr. Oz did an episode that featured his 2 Week Rapid Weight Loss Diet Plan.. The results and and response from participants all across the country have been amazing.  Dr. Oz said that over 2 million people downloaded the weight loss plan and it has been his most successful diet that he has ever done on the show!

Dr. Oz first laid out the guidelines to the 2 Week Rapid Weight Loss Plan last month.  While the diet definitely does make you make some sacrifices, the results can’t be denied.  Dr. Oz asked the participants to eliminate wheat, artificial sweeteners, coffee, sugar and dairy during the 2 week plan. Well eliminating those foods you introduce other foods into your diet.  Today (February 4, 2014) Diet participants shared some of their weight loss success stories and they all seemed excited about how well it worked and the big boost of confidence that it has given them.Cabbage Steak Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation directions :

  • First, you chop the cabbage into small bite size pieces.
  • Drizzle the cabbage with olive oil and then season the cabbage with a small amount of salt and pepper
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes and your done!

Turkey Chili Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 Lb of ground turkey
  • 1 rinsed and drained can of black beans
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • Salso
  • Pink Himalayan sea salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Chili powder

Preparation directions :

    1. In a medium sized pan, heat olive oil.
    2. Add beans, cayenne, chili powder garlic, and sea salt to pan.  Stir and cook until the mixture is well blended and tender
    3. In a separate pan, brown ground turkey that has been seasoned with a small amount of cayenne and sea salt.
    4. Mix the turkey from one pan into the bean mixture of the other pan.
    5. Remove from heat and enjoy your Easy Turkey Chili dish.

Spicy Avocado Yogurt Salad

This spicy avocado yogurt salad recipe was shared by a woman who lost 13 pounds on the 2 week rapid weight loss plan.  Try this healthy salad dressing as an alternative store bought dressings that are often loaded with unhealthy fats.

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 avocado (large)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp host sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoons of salt

Preparation directions :

Simply mix all of the salad dressing ingredients noted above and enjoy!
