Cranial Sacral Therapy – Ease Your Stress In Three Easy Steps

Michelle Ebbin said that the Cranial Sacral Program consists of 3 easy steps that you can do in the comfort of your own home.  Here are the tips that she gave on the show :

  1. Tilt your head forward and apply 3 fingers to the ridge of your skull. While applying gentle pressure tilt your head forward and then backwards.
  2. Using your fingertips apply light pressure on the top center of your head. Start with your pinkie finger and then proceed through to your thumbs.  Do this process three times (3-5 seconds each time).
  3. Place two tennis balls on the floor.  Lay down and set the tennis balls at the base of your spine.  With your body totally relaxed rock back and forth on the tennis balls.

Face Mapping – What Your Chin and Cheeks Reveal About Your Health

Dr. Oz invited Mao Ni on to the show to talk about face mapping and how this practice can reveal clues about our health.  Dr. Ni (Chinese Medicine Doctor) said that your cheeks and chin can give you clues about disease and illness.

Red Chin – Dr. Ni said that your chin can tell you about your reproductive health as well as the health of your hormones.  Redness or discolored cheeks can be a clue that your kidneys aren’t functioning well or that you have excess estrogen.

Redness on your right cheek – Dr. Ni said that your right cheek is linked to your intestines, lungs, and respiratory system.  Dr. Ni said that if your right cheek is noticeably red it could mean that you have allergies or asthma.  Dr. Ni suggested avoiding gluten, dairy and sugar.  You should also consumer more cruciferous veggies like broccoli and cauliflower.

Yellowish color or visible capillaries on left cheek – This could be a symptom that you have gall stones or another problem associated with the liver.

The dimple above your lips – If the dimple area above your lips is dry or has horizontal lines it can be an indicator that you have infertility problems.
