Dr. Oz did a segment that featured all natural detoxes that will help you cleanse your body in less than one hour!  Express detox 101.  To help him with this segment Dr. Oz invited Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary on to the show to share how Dandelion Greens, Ginger, and Oil Pulling are powerful and effective natural detoxes that are effective.

Ginger Digestion Detox

Toxins can build up in your digestive tract.  Ginger is a great remedy and powerful detox herb for the digestive system.  Here is the recipe that was shared on today’s show :

Digestive Tract Detox Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 inch slices of freshly cut ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of seasalt

Detox directions :

Allow the ginger to soak in the lemon juice, sea salt solution for one whole day.  Eat one to two piece of ginger piece before a meal.

Dandelion Greens Liver Detox Recipe

Dandelion greens is a safe and fast detox treatment for your liver.  Dandelion greens are an all natural diuretic and they pull toxins from the blood.  This helps to ease the load on the liver.

  • Eat a handful of loose dandelion greens at dinner.  She said that you can eat the dandelion greens in a salad or if you prefer you can saute them and eat them as a side dish.

Oil Pulling Mouth Detox

Oil pulling has been practiced for centuries and is still an effective treatment today!  Oil pulling can cleanse and detox the mouth.  The oil pulling method helps to pull toxins that are trapped inside of your mouth.

  • Swish 1 tablespoon of sesame oil inside your mouth for 10 minutes before you brush your teeth

Dr. Chaudhary said that the sesame oil pulls out the trapped toxins in your mouth along with your saliva.  It is a very effective treatment for gingivitis, bad breath, and even tartar buildup.  Dr. Chaudhary said that removing toxins from your mouth has the added benefits of improving your overall health!
