Eat All The Non Starchy Vegetables That You Want
Don’t you just love the term “Eat All You Want”…. Especially when it is not referring to a buffet line! You can lose 10 lbs by summer while eating to your hearts content. But, when you are eating in unlimited portions in between your breakfast, lunch, and dinner you should be eating the veggies shown above. In case your photo isn’t appearing, here is the list of non starch vegetables to choose from for your grocery list :
- Artichokes and Artichoke hearts
- Bok Choy
- Brussels Sprouts
- Dark leafy greens which include : Kale, Beet Greens, Cauliflower Greens, Mustard Greens, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Turnip Greens.

Joy Bauer’s Diet Plan to Drop 10 LBs by Summer
Joy explained to Dr. Oz that she is really excited about this weight loss plan because your not just going to be eating rabbit food! Yay!! You can eat foods like pancakes, chicken parmesan, and even burgers. All the meals are perfectly planned to have lean meats, high quality starches, and healthy fats. Carbs are allowed in this plan (this got my attention). Joy Bauer said that your going to feel great on this diet, but while your never hungry, the weight is going to just melt off.
Pick One Group of Food From Each Category
For breakfast, lunch, and dinner you choose your favorite recipe from each category. Each day you can change it around so your always eating foods that you love! You will also be eating healthy because each meal that contains your favorite foods also is balanced with a healthy fat and healthy carb. You also get to snack between meals (from the non starch vegetable downloadable / printout list shown above) in unlimited amounts. Joy said that you could virtually eat all day long and still lose 10 pounds by summer!
The 3 P’s Rule
20 minutes before you eat, drink six ounces of water to help minimize your hunger to help keep you from overeating. Next, follow the “3 P’s Rule”…
- Each meal should consist of a lean protein
- Fill your plate with 2 cups of produce
- “Power Down” – Turn off your electrical devices like your smart phone, so you will be more mindful of what your eating.
