Have you ever thought that being flexible can actually help you to live longer?  Dr. Oz said that people that have flexible bodies also have flexible blood vessels.  Flexibility is an excellent way in which you can lower your blood pressure.  So, set aside some time each day to dedicate to increasing your flexibility for healthier blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Quitting Smoking Reverses Lung Damage

Was smoking part of the reason why the results of your “real age” is older than what the calendar says that y ou are?  Dr. Roizen said that you should focus on changing one habit at a time. Quitting smoking would be a great place to start.

Dr. Oz spoke with a woman who is a heavy smoker (a pack of cigarettes per day) what her lungs likely look like.  The lungs were clearly a blackish color and shown effects from lung damage.  The good news is that Dr. Roizen said that if you quit smoking you can expect your lungs to reverse all the damage over time that smoking has caused.

Limit Alcohol Consumption
