Green Drink Recipe To Boost Your Enzyme Levels Naturally on Dr. Oz

Do you get sick often but can’t understand why?  It could be low enzyme output that is the culprit.  Dr. Oz got together with Dr. Robynne Chutkan to come up with this low enzyme test that you can take at home.

Signs That You May Have Low Enzymes :

  • Bloating
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Floating stools (Dr. Chutkan said that if you have floating stools it is because you have a fatty stool.. Enzymes help to break down fats)

Hair Loss can also be a sign that your enzyme production is low.   Here are some symptoms that you should look for.

  • Dull skin
  • Hair loss
  • Rashes
  • Weak nails

People with low enzyme counts have high occurrences of headaches.  Here are more signs that could signify that you have a low enzyme count.

  • Mood swings
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia

How Many Symptoms Do You Have?

Dr. Chutkan said that if you have 6 or more of the symptoms listed above you may have low enzymes.  If you have low enzymes you may be at risk for having a low immunity which means you are more susceptible to illness and the duration of sickness last longer.Foods With Natural Digestive EnzymesDid you have 6 or more symptoms from Dr. Oz’s low enzyme test?  If so, you can increase your enzyme production by adding raw and fermented foods that can boost your enzymes and support the good bacteria in your digestive system.  Try adding some of these foods to your diet :

  • Sauerkraut
  • Papaya
  • Sprouts
  • Fermented carrots

Digestive Enzyme Supplements

If you don’t feel that you can eat the foods noted above with consistency you can consider a more controversial method of adding enzymes to your digestive system.  Dr. Chutkan reminded the viewers that supplementation isn’t regulated by the FDA.  You also shouldn’t take enzyme supplements if you aren’t enzyme deficient.  If you are enzyme deficient you should look for supplements that contain the following :

  • Protease, Amylase, Lipase

You should also avoid supplements that contain Propylene, glycol, wheat, corn, and soy.
