The Five Problem Areas That Women Have

Shaun T has been on Dr. Oz several times in the past to share health tips and exercise plans to help you lose weight.  Viewers have requested that Shaun T come up with a plan to fix the 5 problem areas that women have.  The five problems on Shaun T’s 5 Week Fix Plan include the :

    • Legs
    • Waist
    • Back
    • Butt
    • Bat Wings

Shaun T talks about his five week fix for these problem  areas and the diet principles that you should utilize to help your body burn fat and build muscle.  Here is the Peanut Butter & Ricotta cookies recipe that you can enjoy in between meals as a delicious and nutritious snack!

Shaun T Peanut Butter & Ricotta Cheese Cookies Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 packs of stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 teaspoon of flaxseed
  • cinnamon

Preparation directions :

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees and preheat
  2. Mix all of the ingredients above.  It helps to mash up the ricotta cheese using a fork.
  3. Mold the mixture into 5 cookies
  4. Place the cookies on a baking sheet
  5. Place in oven and cook for 10 minutes (the cookies should be lightly browned)

Low Glycemic Foods On Shaun T’s 5 Week Plan

The combination of both diet and exercise is the key for Shaun’s 5 week plan.  One of the foods that Shaun recommends is pumpkin.. He said that pumpkin makes a great ingredient to put in your breakfast meals like oatmeal and pancakes. Pumpkin provides an excellent source of nutrition and is a healthy low glycemic food that is absorbed slowly.  This will keep you full in between meals so you wont have cravings and be less inclined to snack.

Shaun T’s Healthy Snack – Ricotta Cheese

If you are going to have a snack in between meals, Shaun T said that Ricotta cheese is an excellent option for a mid morning snack.  He said that ricotta is an excellent choice because it is a good calcium source and calcium is important if you want to lose fat from your thighs (one of the 5 problem areas that women often have).

Plums Reduce Inflammation

Plums are an anti-oxidant rich fruit that helps to reduce inflammation in your body.  Plums will help your body to relax and release fat cells instead of holding on to them.  He suggested eating plums if “bat wings” is one of your problem areas.

Quinoa Fiber

If your “big butt” is one of your problem areas, you should add quinoa to your diet.  Shaun T explained to Dr. Oz that quinoa is a protein rich food source that you can add to your meal.  You will increase your fiber intake and it is filling as well so you will satisfy your hunger and eat less.  The added fiber in quinoa helps keep your body from storing fat in one of your problem areas (like your butt!!)
