Dr. Oz Talks About A Fight Fighting Supplement (Triphala) That Burns Fat & How To Burn More Calories Throughout The Day
Today’s show was about Ayurvedic medicine and how you can burn fat and calories all throughout the day. During the opening segment Dr. Chaudhary shared a fat burning tea and curry powder recipe that will help you melt away fat from your problem areas like your hips, belly, and thighs! During this segment Dr. Oz talks about an exciting supplement called Triphala and how it can help you to lose weight. It also features a massage technique called Gharshana that will help to improve your circulation and lymphatic flow function more efficiently. The massage technique will help you lose weight as well!
Eat Half Of Your Daily Calories At Lunch
Many people have their largest meal at dinner time. Dr. Chaudhary said that your digestion works the best at lunch time so you should eat 50 percent of your calories at this time. She said that your digestion is working it’s weakest during dinner time so you should eat something light. She also said that you shouldn’t eat past 7 pm.
Breakfast Calories – You should eat 25 percent of your daily caloric intake during breakfast. Some options would be oatmeal & raisins with some cinnamon or maybe egg whites & fruit.
Lunchtime – This is when you should eat your largest meal and it should be 50 percent of your daily caloric intake.
Dinner calories – You dinner should be light and should consist of 25 percent of your daily calories that you consume.Dr. Chaudhary said that if you make these simple changes to your diet you will see that you will lose weight quickly.Triphala Fat Burning SupplementDr. Chaudhary told Dr. Oz that she feels that everyone should be taking Triphala. Triphala is a mixture of three berries and in combination it works to reduce inflammation in your body, get rid of toxins that make it harder to lose weight, and release fat from your cells!Dr. Chaudhary explained that there are two types of Triphala supplements :
Triphala Powder – You can add 1/2 tsp of Triphala powder with 1 tsp of psyllium husk fiber (this is the fiber that is in metamucil) and a teaspoon of ground flax seeds (try to find organic). Mix the ingredients in a glass of warm water and drink it all down at once.
Triphala supplements – You can also choose to take Triphala supplements. She suggests taking 2 capsules one hour before you go to bed. She said that you can find Triphala in health food stores online.Ayurvedic Fat Fighting Massage Technique Called GharshanaWouldn’t it be nice getting a massage to help you lose weight? Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary explained to Dr. Oz that you can! Gharshana is a massage technique that will improve your cirulation and lymphatic flow. This will help your body to break down fat easier. You can even perform this massage technique in your own home. To do the massage you should use raw silk gloves and massage vigorously to improve blood flow. This will help your body to rid itself of toxins that make it harder to lose weight.
